Easiest Smoothie EVER

Breakfast, lunch, snack, dessert...the smoothie may just be the most versatile food I've ever met. And it's easy! Let's get this party started :)

Mango, strawberry, coconut smoothie

Coconut water hardcore changed my smoothie game. It is the perfect base to a healthy, yet still sweet smoothie...there are only 3 key ingredients for my go-to: coconut water, agave, and frozen fruit of your choice. Seriously! I make it all the time and it's so easy to mix up and create different flavors, all with the same basic foundation.

For this smoothie, I chose mango and strawberry for my frozen fruit. To add a little texture, I included shredded coconut. Coconut water itself is mild enough that even a non-coconut lover could use it in the smoothie as a sweetener without the coconut overpowering. I personally love coconut, so to bring out the flavor more I will often throw in some shredded coconut. The best thing about this smoothie is really how you can change it up every time while still using the same basic ingredients! And agave and coconut water are two fairly healthy sweeteners, so it's a no guilt dessert! And your girl is always looking for those ;)

I'll typically use an 11 oz bottle of coconut water, which makes a large smoothie for one or a couple smaller ones. Dump in your coconut water, a cup or two of frozen fruit, sprinkle on some shredded coconut if you like, and swirl agave to taste. Mix it all up and you are good to go!

A few ideas to keep it fresh:

-add an avocado for smoothness and thickness

-replace coconut water with almond milk...especially good with strawberry for more of a milkshake flavor

-add mint leaves, chia seeds, or protein powder

-use almond or peanut butter, probably with almond milk, and maybe apples for your fruit

Ingredients:

11 oz. coconut water

agave to taste

shredded coconut (optional)

1-2 cups frozen fruit of choice

Directions:

Combine and mix in blender. Taste and adjust as necessary. Enjoy!!

And there you have it...my go-to snack, dessert, lunch, and breakfast. Grab these few ingredients to keep on hand and start mixing :)
